HereHere! records who was in your class. We store your account details, the courses and class lists you create, and the check-ins students make. We do not know where anyone is: no location, no GPS, no Bluetooth, no advertising profiles, and nothing sold to anyone. You can delete a course, or your whole account, at any time.
Who we are
HereHere! is provided by SULE/RAHM AB (Swedish company registration number 559399-8577), trading as RuntheRoom. Our registered address is Gräsandsgatan 15, 133 41 Saltsjöbaden, Sweden. SULE/RAHM AB is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@runtheroom.se.
What we collect and why
Account information. Your email address and sign-in credentials, so we can sign you in and secure your account. This is needed to provide the service to you.
Course data. The courses, class lists, sessions, attendance records and groups you create. You decide what to upload, and we process it on your instructions.
Student identifiers. When a student checks in, the identifier you asked for is stored with the attendance record so you can read your own register. Alongside it we store a derived matching value, which is what the product uses to compare a check-in against your class list. Identifiers are never used for advertising or profiling.
Support messages and institutional enquiries. So we can answer you.
Technical data. Basic server logs such as IP address, browser type and error information, to keep the service secure and reliable.
What we do not collect
We do not track location. We do not access GPS, Bluetooth or contacts. We do not fingerprint or identify devices. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal data.
How check-in is protected
The QR code and the typed classroom code both change during a session, so a code that was valid a few minutes ago will not let someone check in later from outside the room.
When a student checks in, their browser keeps a value that is meaningless on its own. Each day, the server combines it with the date to work out whether that browser has already checked someone in. This is not device identification and it is not tracking: the value is not linked to a name, an email or an account, and it tells us nothing about the person or their device.
Who we share data with
Service providers who host and operate the product on our behalf; Paddle, our merchant of record, for purchases, subscriptions, payments, tax and invoicing; professional advisers where needed; and authorities where the law requires it.
International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Attendance records are kept for as long as you keep them. We do not delete your courses on a schedule; deletion is in your hands. Account data is kept while your account is active. Demo data is fictional and removed automatically within hours; a Playground course is fictional too, but stays in your account until you reset or delete it.
Deleting your data
Delete a course. The course owner can delete a course from the course page. That removes its class list, sessions, attendance records and groups. It cannot be undone.
Delete your account. You can delete your account from your account settings. This removes the courses you own along with their attendance records, and your sign-in details. Minimal security logs may remain for a short period.
If you need help removing data, write to hello@runtheroom.se and we will handle it promptly.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Write to us and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and authorisation rules that keep each course readable only by the people who run it.
Cookies
We use only cookies and local storage that are essential to sign you in, keep your session and run a demo room. We do not use advertising cookies. Clearing your browser storage signs you out.
